Most “conventional” (i.e. not “mini” overdenture type) implants are a minimum diameter of 3.2mm, and ideally should have 2mm of space between the implant and adjacent teeth on each side. So should have a total of 7.2 mm. Most digital 2D x-ray systems have a measurement function which should give you a good idea of space.
