Title: Beyond the Bite – Tongue Posture, Sleep & Long-Term Stability in General Practice Orthodontics
Description: Does finishing orthodontic treatment always mean long-term stability?
Why do some cases relapse despite seemingly ideal tooth alignment?
Growing evidence shows that orthodontic stability is not determined by mechanics alone — but by function.
Outcomes:
- Why proper resting tongue posture is critical for maintaining stable orthodontic results
- Which clinical signs may indicate dysfunctional oral habits and breathing disorders
- When and how to incorporate elements of myofunctional therapy into everyday practice
- How to reduce the risk of relapse after orthodontic treatment is completed
This webinar is designed for general dentists who want to:
- Expand their understanding of orthodontics beyond tooth movement
- Improve predictability of treatment outcomes
- Enhance long-term stability for their patients
- Integrate functional diagnostics into daily clinical decision-making
This is a practical, clinically focused session addressing one of the most overlooked factors influencing orthodontic success.
